Biogenic Futures

As the climate crisis challenges the viability of conventional material systems, Biogenic Futures: Women Shaping Material Ecologies highlights the transformative potential of biomaterials and their capacity to reshape our built environment through care, resilience, and innovation. 

This exhibition proposes a reorientation of design culture toward stewardship and co-creation—fostering collaboration across disciplines and institutions. By bridging the gap between research and application, artists in this exhibition catalyze new partnerships, advance open-source experimentation, and celebrate the underrecognized leadership of women in this vital field.
